How do you balance playfulness with progress?

August 29, 20241 min read

Coaching with me centers on creativity, strategy, and playfulness. We’ll find the right balance, using playfulness as one of the tools to tackle challenges and discover new paths forward. This approach will keep you engaged and excited about your progress.

However, my coaching isn’t just about fun and games—it’s also about digging deep. Real growth often requires us to lean into our emotions, facing them head-on rather than settling for shallow positivity. Together, we’ll explore these deeper layers, doing the work of grounding your emotions so that your positive reframes can take root. It’s in these moments, when we allow ourselves to truly feel and process, that the most profound breakthroughs occur. And remember, I’ll be supporting you every step of the way.

Self-care can be particularly challenging for those with ADHD—often becoming an afterthought or even a source of guilt. Hyperfocus may lead to neglecting essential needs like eating and sleeping, which is why finding the right self-care strategies is crucial. Together, we’ll create a self-care toolkit with dynamic movement, healthy eating, and fun situational awareness games, striking a balance that enhances your focus, clarity, and overall well-being. When you care for yourself in ways that resonate with you, you’ll be better prepared to face challenges and maintain the momentum we build together.

The goal of life coaching is to empower you to take control of your own journey. Coaching is meant to be a temporary process, providing you with the tools, strategies, and confidence you need to navigate your path independently. My aim is to help you reach a point where you no longer need coaching, confident in your ability to continue your growth and success on your own.
